Christmas Anthology
I’m so excited to announce a free holiday anthology in both English and Spanish!
This year Cristy Hulz invited me to be a part of a Christmas anthology to be offered in both English and Spanish. Cristy is visitng today to tell you a little about the project.
A some of you know, Christmas was an important time for Jane and her family, though it was not focus on the present, but more like in giving thanks, celebrating together, dancing and giving some to those in need. This year I wanted to do again a JAFF Christmas anthology and I felt really lucky for the positive answers I received from the authors who are collaborating with their short stories.
We have Jennifer Redlarczyk, Nicole Clarkston, Maria Grace, Amanda Kai, Summer Hanford, Leslie Diamond, and Fernando García Pañeda and Cristina Almario, both from Spain. It’s also a pleasure to have two amazing women who wrote the prologues: Christina Boyd for the English version and Mila Cahue for the Spanish one.
I started with this idea last year, with five authors. Now we have eight, with six stories translated from English into Spanish, and two from Spanish into English. This is the first time for most of them having their stories in another language, which is exciting for all of us.
Translation is not just to know two languages, it´s about knowing of linguistics, grammar, translation, meaning, rules, writing, research, historical time, literature, and many other components which make this subject into a complicated one, and at the same time something fascinated. I’m very grateful for my job, for the opportunity to bring more amazing JAFF novels into Spanish and for new readers.
And thank you to Grace for the opportunity to share about our anthology, I know you are going to enjoy it very much.

How wonderful! I just downloaded the book and look forward to enjoying this. Thank you – and all the authors, editors, coordinators, and translators – very much! May you all have a beautiful and joyous Christmas season.
Hi Catherine. Actually, it was just one translator. I didn’t have a coordinator because I did all the stuff, which was challenging, but I enjoyed it.
Thank you for your comment and Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift in a time when so many need an uplift. And to have it available in a Spanish translation is a bonus as the Hispanic population in the USA increases, hopefully more readers will be able to enjoy our amazingly gifted group of JAFF authors in their mother tongue.
Thank you Grace for having me on your blog. I enjoyed working with you and all the authors.
I have this downloaded and just need to find time to read it. Thank you for this gift. I am sure I will enjoy it. Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad.
Thank you! Looking forward to reading it! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!
