Looks yummy but I have to pass due to diabetes. Enjoy your cake, though.
I’m afraid I can’t afford the time to beat everything up by hand (even if I had such a cute wooden whisk) but I would love to try the cake itself. Thank you!
I watched that last week; it does look wonderful!
It looks amazing!! We usually make a King’s Cake for Epiphany. When our kids were younger, we would give them their big family gift on Epiphany, but as they’ve grown up (all are now in their twenties), we exchange gifts on Christmas Day. However, this year with the strict COVID restrictions, especially here in Southern California, we met with our married son and daughter-in-law on the Ninth Day of Christmas–outside on the patio–to exchange gifts before we took a walk on the beach together. We have celebrated the Twelve Days of Christmas for twenty years now, and it’s sooooo nice to laze around between Christmas and Epiphany. I will miss our Anglican Church’s Twelfth Night party, especially the Rector’s wife’s amazing Trifle. But at least we’ll enjoy a virtual Burning of the Greens via Zoom!! I’ll have my sherry at hand, sans Trifle. 🙁
A Happy Twelfth Night and Epiphanytide to all!!
Warmly,
Susanne 🙂
This video was so much fun. I just love that guy and he had someone help him with his cake. That looked like a two-person job. Thanks for sharing this with us. Enjoy the rest of the season. Blessings, stay safe, and healthy.
Wow, that looks really good. I just ate a heavy dinner and this makes me eat more food!!!
Happy New Year to all!
Blessings to all…Peace of mind, great health and true happiness!
