A little update
I’ve been a little scarce recently and thought it was about time to give you all an update.
First, thank you for all the encouragement and support you’ve given me and my family during this challenging time with my mother. I’ve been off the radar for the last six weeks because of my mother’s health crisis and related family issues.
She is still in the hospital and may be for several more weeks. There are a lot of unknowns right now. But her condition has stabilized and she seems to be recuperating.
Other related family issues are starting to settle out a bit–not normalized by any means, but settling down. So I hope to start working my way back to a more normal schedule soon.
I was in the middle of revamping the website when this all happened. Thus, the move to new internet digs has not been as smooth as I would like. Just yesterday I found a bunch of broken links and other weirdness going on that caught me completely off guard. I think I’ve figured out how to fix it and will be diligently working on that in the next few days. Who knew how many hundreds of links were on this site!
Once I have the website up to speed, I’ll get back to writing. I hope to have a new story started for you in a month or so. Not sure which of two possibilities it will be, but I’m really looking forward to getting back to writing again. When that happens, I hope to celebrate with a few fun things I’ve been kicking around.
In the meantime, thanks for the thoughts and prayers and comments, they have meant so much. Please continue to remember us as there are still a great many unknowns we are facing. Please let me know if you find any weirdness on this site, so I can try to get it fixed ASAP. And keep visiting! I’ve added a new feature, The Regency Interpreter, this week. Now we can watch movies together!
Thanks for your patience. I hope to have your favorite features up and running again soon.

Wow, I love the new site. I’m so glad to hear about things evening out a bit. Each bit helps. I look forward to the new feature and even more the writing being shared. Thanks so much. This must all be challenging. It’s so very hard to keep up when things are going fairly smooth…..when we’ve had family/health/everything else issues it feels overwhelming.
Thank you Suzan. I appreciate the encouragement. and I hope to get back to writing very soon.
Maria, prayers for you, your mom, and family. It is amazing how one finds more strength than they ever thought they had during times like these. Been there and understand .
We have patience.
Thank you so much Carol.
