Day 15- 30 Days of Gratitude
Gratitude #15 What is your favorite family activity that you did recently?
I had to hold off on this post just a bit as we had a family activity planned for the day this prompt came up!
We celebrated hubby’s birthday this weekend. Since we’ve formed a support bubby with our sons, all the kids were able to come over for hubby’s favorite meal that concluded with two plates of cupcakes iced in his very favorite color.
Having three grandkids under the age of 5 over was a little chaotic and my sons may or may not have decided to use the most unlikely utensil in the drawer to eat their cupcakes with (chopsticks, guys, really?) but what is there not to be grateful for in having all the kids around to celebrate another birthday?
Four kids’ birthdays in 12 days! Playing “Wits and Wagers”.
Talking to my grandchildren via Facetime since we won’t see them in person for Thanksgiving and probably Christmas also is my favorite family activity as of today during this month of stress.
