In which the author writes a book just to please herself.
In all likelihood, this will be my last non-fiction book. I wrote it on a lark, when I got fascinated by ice cream in the Georgian era and something else was going on that made it really hard to get into the head space to write ficiton. Making sure I didn’t stop writing all together seemed really important at the time.
I think it was, as after this one, I got back on the horse and back to writing fiction again.
So, although this book gets very little attention or love, it holds a special place in my heart.
