Day 19- 30 Days of Gratitude
Gratitude #19 What do you like about the current season?
Usually we don’t start Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. But this year, on the first of November my hubby was asking if we could get started. We waiting another day, and he reported he saw a house with lights on his morning walk with the dog, so we wouldn’t be the first in the neighborhood to decorate. Who can argue with that logic, so, we began.
I love holiday lights, and especially this year, the symbol of a light in the darkness is especially poignant. I am grateful for the changing season and for lights to remind me that we have hope that things ‘out there in the world’ will change, too.
I love the fall. The air seems to change and I feel like I can breathe. I know that is strange but I can. Everything just feels different. I love watching the leaves turn and fall. On a breezy day [like today] the leaves are falling all over the place. The sun is bright and what a lovely day. Blessings, stay safe, and healthy.
I like to see the change of color on the trees. We get a lot of tourists (not in quarantine times but usually) in the Poconos Mts. nearby to view all the tree leaf changes. Northern variety meets Southern variety in our state so we have the most variety of colors here.
