Day 18- 30 Days of Gratitude
Gratitude #18 What food are you grateful for?
Today has been rough day. We had a sudden veterinary crisis that resulted in the loss of our oldest cat. I certainly did not feel like eating. Chocolate was one of the few things that was palatable, so I am grateful for that.

Wheat bran. Low-cal, high fibre, can be added to cereal & desserts, etc. to fill you up & prevent food cravings. Especially delicious in muffins made with Demerara sugar.
Sad to hear about your cat. Hope the chocolate helped. Thank you for information on Chocolate kitchen at Hampton Court. How intriguing to have space and wealth for a chocolate kitchen?
So sorry for your loss. I am grateful for the potato. I can fix it a dozen different ways and it goes with just about everything. We love potatoes. However, not that you have mentioned it… I’m headed to the kitchen for chocolate. Yep, that would be just the thing on a cool fall day. Blessings and I hope your time of grief will be shortened by the memories and pictures you have of your beloved cat.
Sorry to hear about the loss of that family member. I used to eat dark chocolate (one or two Dole pieces) before diagnosed as diabetic so I don’t eat sweets unless it is a birthday. I do eat peanut butter daily – usually smeared on a banana, as well as blueberries and strawberries daily. So I am thankful for those.
