Turnspit Dragon available Audio
Book 9 of Jane Austen’s Dragons is now on Audible with the amazing voice talents of Ben Fife, the Voice of Jane Austen’s Dragons.
I gotta be honest here, guys, I never expected this series to get to book 9. I really figured on a three books series covering the events of Pride and Prejudice and that would be that. Instead, with the encouragment of amazing readers, this series has grown to include the events of Persuasion as well s a host of original characters, human and dragon, that have spring to life in this fantasy regency world.
In the course of that much story (760 thousand words, not including the upcoming book!) side stories come up that just do not fit in narrative of the main books. But characters will have their ways and their stories must be told, thus, these Tales of the Blue Order came into being. With back stories and side stories for many minor characters, this volume became this author’s playground to explore the Blue Order world more deeply. So much fun! Add Ben’s voice talents to that, and wow, this has to be one of my favorite books so far!

A short story collection in the world of Jane Austen’s Dragons
In case you’d like a bonus (free!) short story in this world, you can find it here:
Philip Smalley was certain of two things in life: England was full of dragons, and even very small dragons could cause very large problems.
As a minor dairy farmer with rent coming due and no money to pay it, Peter had enough problems of his own to be bothered with dragons.
Until a troubled dragon came looking for him.
A dragon adventure fantasy set in the gaslamp regency world of the Blue Order of Jane Austen’s Dragons. A delight for readers of Anne McCaffrey’s The Dragon Riders of Pern and Naomi Novik’s Temeraire.
I have enjoyed reading about ButterCross, Phillip, and Marriane. I really don’t understand why Phillip was so stubborn about working for the Order since he’s so poor. It seems to be honorable, especially since it helps the dragons, and ButterCross was so happy when Marriane said she would be her Friend.
