Inspiring A Writer— Laidly Wyrm of Spindleston Heugh — 6 Comments

  1. A wonderful story – in many ways! Elizabeth is still a little too certain around one who is dragon deaf as well as dragon hungry. Too certain about the characteristics of wyrms versus amphitheater, for example. But I did enjoy how she evaluated his responses and listened for any commentary from April.

  2. Such a delightful story!! Wickham was probably hoping to get something more personal from her, but this story interested him enough without Elizabeth going too far in telling him about dragons. 😉

I love this part of the book–even if Elizabeth is escaping Longbourn to go to the Gardiners’–her father leaves her little choice.

Thanks for sharing this story again–such an intriguing “myth”!!

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂

  3. Oh, that was delightful. I was totally drawn in. I was worse than Wickham as I leaned in toward my e-reader. LOL! Thank you for sharing this story. Did the witch say he had to kiss her thrice? I love this story.
