#16 Alien Invasion

We can all agree 2020 was quite a year. Fires, storms, floods, volcanoes, pandemic. Check.

Rather that discuss what happened, it might be easier to talk about what didn’t happen during 2020. Along those lines, I think I can say, with a fair amount of certainty: There were no alien invasions during 2020.

Whew! That’s a relief right?

Well, don’t get too excited yet. I’m afraid that I might have bad news on that front. Don’t want anyone to get too alarmed but, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got some definite proof of an alien invasion going on right now, in my sitting room.

I came home from shopping and this glow-y eyed trio was sitting in my front room, waiting for me, staring at me with their compelling, glistening eyes.

I felt my self drawn to do their bidding: food, blankets, toys, scritchies. Over and over again. I’m afraid I’m being affected by some sort of mind control.

Must. Obey. The. Cats.

And that my friends means that writing in 2021 may take a long time!
