The Secrets Behind Ink In The 18th Century — 1 Comment

  1. I have seen this video before. I use walnut ink for my calligraphy practice; I use an oblique nib on a wooden-handled dip pen to practice copperplate script. For the past two years, I’ve been learning and practicing calligraphy, specifically copperplate, which is pretty much the style used in the 18th and 19th centuries with some personal variations as most writers would have done.

You can look at my Facebook where I have my personal copperplate-style alphabet pinned. 🙂 I plan to add some to my blog soon, too.

Thanks for sharing this with us, G!! I’ve watched many of these guys’ videos over the years and so enjoy learning more about how to write as they did in the Regency period!!

    Warmly,
    Susanne 🙂
