Inspiring an ARC Giveaway — 3 Comments

  1. 1. Is that a whale or a shark? Perhaps it inspired Moby Dick.
What on earth was that man doing in the water in the first place… and naked? It appears that they are near the harbor. You can see other boats and a city in the background. I’ve heard the term ‘shark bate’ before but this is ridiculous. There appears to be a rope held in that man’s hands and it trails down out of the boat and into the water. There are two people [female and male] attempting to reach for him only he isn’t looking at or reaching for them. They appear young… maybe his family? This is a strange picture. The older man is at least holding on to the younger man.

    2. Mr. Collins, at your service.

    3. Two heads are better than one.

    4. Run… for the love of… just run.

    5. I have this little place in the country… the glazing alone will astonish.

  2. 1. This small sea craft has rescued some of the people tossed into the water when their ship was attacked by a rogue sea dragon, the two people reaching for the man in the water have wet hair and are in their night clothes. The gentleman lost his night shirt when trying to swim away from the ship and save his sisters. Kellynch will have to negotiate proper territorial and behavior terms with the rogue. The whales are simply doing their daily routine of finding food.

    2. This is a Cockatrix cousin, I don’t yet know the name. They are sometimes rivals for the same territories of the Cockatrix.

    3. This a new dragon for us. A small furry creature with sensitive natures but abundant strength when called upon. However, due to their size they hide away all day and only come out at night for food. This still puts them in danger of night time predators. They are wary of humans for multiple reasons. They may look soft and cuddly but don’t make good friends unless their human is a night owl.

    4. The Darcys and the Wentworths visit a new exhibit at the British Museum of fossil remains originally discovered by Mary Anning.

    5. Frederick Wentworth takes Anne on a mission given by the Blue Order, which takes them near Kellynch Hall. Anne is not sure she wants to see the home she grew up with, especially since the Crofts have relocated. It has been unoccupied since their removal, leaving it lonely and rather grim. It needs someone to lease it and treat it as the estate it could be. But since it is entailed, who will they find someone to care for it the way it should be. Poor tenants.

  3. Just as he was losing hope of ever being rescued, our intrepid hero is snatched from the jaws of death by a passing fishing boat. His faithful pet, a blue, speckled bill whatsis, had hovered near by watchful. It had driven off any weird sea things but was not able to chase away the shark. Our hero is taken to a mysterious mansion to recover and the lady of the house (purely by accident) caught a glimpse of his naked body and asked him to stay. Will he stay or will he go and hunt down the dreaded sea monster only known to man by the skeleton that washed up on shore occasionally?
