Thank you for this incredible excerpt, Maria!!

I must confess, however, that my mouth is watering far more in anticipation of this book being published than as a result of the description of the delectable Christmas dinner included in this vignette.

Thank you so much for sharing this delicious tidbit to us … although the end of the piece gave me shivers, both of fear and of anticipation.

I’ve contacted you to see if you would like another set of proofreading eyes. It’s a very selfish request on my part, but I have rarely been more excited for the release of a book in a series than for this one! (I think J.K. Rowling is the only exception, LOL!)

A joyous Second Day of Christmas to you and yours,
    Susanne 🙂

It is a great teaser Maria,
I kinda wish I hadn’t read it to my girls though… They have no idea how long it takes to complete and publish a novel including it’s sequels or parts of trilogies etc.
Can you give us a hint as to when it is likely to be available on Kindle? Approximation?
You are a very clever and entertaining author. The dragon idea is genius! I was getting incredibly bored with P & P variations until I found this.
Love and new year wishes to you from the hot dryness of a Hawkes Bay drought over here in Middle Earth.

Ester, I am aiming for the end of first quarter 2017 to have the book finished. In the meantime I will be publishing chapters on the site regularly, either biweekly to weekly, so hopefully that will make the wait a little easier. The girls might also enjoy the entries to Elizabeth’s Commonplace Book of Dragons. There are only a few right now, but there will be more.

I’m so glad you and your girls are enjoying this together. Since my sons helped me craft the world, having your kids involved is extra special to me.
